Taien Ng-Chan is a Montreal writer and filmmaker, originally from Calgary via Vancouver. Her poetry and fiction have been published in numerous journals and anthologies, and she has had drama produced for CBC Radio, the Vancouver Fringe Festival, Brave New Playrites, and Playwrights' Workshop Montreal. Her short films have been presented at film festivals across the country. Taien edited the book half of Ribsauce: a cd/anthology of words by women (Véhicule Press / Wired on Words 2001), and is Reviews Editor at Matrix Magazine.
